Food for Everyone
Tens, hundreds, even thousands of people had come to hear Jesus speak
They stayed morning, noon, and night. By dinnertime, the friends of
Jesus said to Him, "Let us tell the people to leave and go get their
Dinner." Jesus said, "They do not have to leave to get food." Philip
A friend of Jesus, said, "We can't feed everyone. We don't have
Enough money." Another friend called Andrew said, "Philip is
Right. And only one person has any food at all. And all he has
Is five loaves of bread and two fish. We can't feed 5,000 people
With that!" Jesus was not worried. He said, "Tell the people to
Come gather around." Everyone sat in the grass and waited
Jesus took the five loaves of bread and the two fish. Jesus
Prayed and thanked God for the food. He then had his friends
Start passing out the food to the people. Surprisingly, even though
There were only five loaves of bread and two fish, every person
In the crowd got to eat as much as they could. Jesus thanked God
